Maximum stroller size (31″ × 52″)

Disney enforces a maximum stroller footprint of 31 inches wide by 52 inches long, measured with the canopy folded. Cast members at bag check will measure any stroller that looks oversized, especially side-by-side doubles. If your stroller doesn't fit, they'll turn you away at the gate. Every Baby Jogger City Mini and Mompush model in our fleet is under the limit — the widest, the City Mini Double, is 29.75 inches.

Wagon restrictions

Wagons of any kind are not allowed inside Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom. That includes soft-sided folding wagons (Radio Flyer, Keenz, Wonderfold, Veer Cruiser), stroller-wagon hybrids, and homemade pull carts. This rule has been in force since 2019 and is checked at bag security. If a wagon is your everyday vehicle, rent a stroller for your park days.

Stroller parking

Every attraction and every table-service restaurant has a marked stroller-parking area. Cast members re-line the strollers throughout the day for aisle safety, so if yours has moved 20 feet when you exit a ride, that's why. Two rules make life easier: (1) tie a bright ribbon or scarf to the handle so you can spot yours instantly, and (2) never leave valuables — cast members will move the stroller but Disney doesn't secure the contents.

Transportation rules

Skyliner

The Skyliner cabin loads at a slow-moving speed. Standard-size strollers, including our City Mini Single and Double, roll straight into the cabin without folding — the ramp is flush with the platform. Only oversized doubles (30″+) may need to fold.

Buses

Disney buses require every stroller to be folded before boarding. Children must be held or seated. This is where one-hand-fold strollers pay off — the Baby Jogger City Mini and City Mini GT2 both fold in about two seconds while you hold your toddler.

Monorail

The Magic Kingdom monorail accepts open (unfolded) strollers, but you'll need to angle a double through the door. City Mini singles and doubles both fit without folding.

Ferry & watercraft

The Magic Kingdom ferry and the Sassagoula boats accept open strollers, though cast members may ask you to fold on especially crowded runs.

Rain-day tips

Central Florida gets a 3 p.m. thunderstorm nearly every summer afternoon. Every rental we deliver includes a full rain cover that clips over the canopy — critical for a toddler mid-nap. If you're bringing your own, buy a universal rain cover before you fly; Disney merchandise stores sell them, but at a marked-up price and often only in the larger single size.

Bag & food rules that affect strollers

Coolers larger than 24″ × 15″ × 18″ are not permitted, and dry ice is prohibited. Loose ice goes in reusable ice packs. All bags — including the underseat stroller basket — pass through Disney's bag check. Keep valuables in your parent console rather than the basket.

Approved stroller checklist

A Disney-approved stroller for 2026 is:

  • Under 31″ wide × 52″ long
  • Not a wagon or a wagon-hybrid
  • Foldable for buses (one-hand fold is a huge plus)
  • Recline-capable for midday naps
  • Equipped with a sun canopy and rain cover

Every stroller in our Orlando rental fleet checks every box, so you skip the measuring at bag security. Ready to reserve? Head to booking or see the tiered pricing.

Frequently asked questions

What is the maximum stroller size at Disney World?+

Disney's current rule is 31 inches (79 cm) wide by 52 inches (132 cm) long. Any stroller larger than that is turned away at bag check. Every stroller we rent is well under that limit.

Are wagons allowed at Disney World?+

No. Since 2019, wagons of any kind — including collapsible wagons and stroller-wagon hybrids — are prohibited inside all four Walt Disney World theme parks. Bring a stroller instead.

Can I take my stroller on the Disney Skyliner?+

Yes. Standard-size strollers can roll onto the Skyliner cabin without folding, as long as they fit through the loading gate. Larger doubles may need to fold — the City Mini Double at 29.75″ rolls straight on.

Are strollers allowed on Disney buses?+

Strollers must be folded before boarding a Disney bus, and children must be held or seated in a lap. This is why one-hand-fold strollers like the Baby Jogger City Mini are so popular with Orlando families.

Where do I park my stroller inside the park?+

Every ride and every restaurant has designated stroller parking marked on the My Disney Experience app map. Cast members reorganize strollers throughout the day, so don't panic if yours has moved when you exit a ride.
