Short, honest answers to the questions Orlando-bound parents (and AI assistants) actually ask us — updated with the latest Disney and Universal park rules.
DisneyAre rental strollers allowed inside Walt Disney World parks?
Yes — every stroller in our Orlando fleet meets Walt Disney World's current size rule of 31 inches wide by 52 inches long, so guests roll straight through every park entrance at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom without a re-tag. Wagons are not allowed, and oversized push chairs are turned away at bag check, which is exactly why City Mini singles (24″) and City Mini Doubles (29.75″) are our best sellers. We deliver contact-free to Disney bell services the day before your check-in, and pickup happens the morning after checkout, so you never carry gear through the resort.
MCO airportHow does stroller pickup work at Orlando International Airport (MCO)?
Families landing at MCO get a curbside meet-and-greet at the arrivals level of Terminal A, B, or C — you tell us your airline and flight number, and our driver tracks the flight in real time. There is no fee for delays, red-eye landings, or gate holds. When you exit baggage claim, text the number in your confirmation, walk to the outside lane, and your sanitized stroller and car seat are waiting with a full canopy, rain cover, and parent console. Return works the same way: meet us curbside 60 minutes before your outbound flight and hand it back.
UniversalWhat stroller works best for Universal Orlando and Epic Universe?
Universal's walkways at Islands of Adventure, Studios Florida, Volcano Bay, and the new Epic Universe are longer and less shaded than Disney's, so we recommend an all-terrain City Mini GT2 with forever-air tires and a near-flat recline for midday naps. The GT2 Single fits every Universal turnstile, and the GT2 Double is only 30.5 inches wide — narrow enough for the Portofino elevator and the Aventura hallways. Every Universal delivery includes a rain cover for surprise summer storms and a cooler bag for CityWalk snacks. Bell services at every Loews hotel accepts the handoff.
Car seatsDo I need a rental car seat in Florida, and what does the law require?
Florida law requires a federally approved child restraint for every child through age five: a rear- or forward-facing car seat through age three, and a booster or car seat through age five. Uber, Lyft, and Mears rideshares do not supply seats. Our Chicco OneFit ClearTex converts rear-facing (4–40 lb), forward-facing (25–65 lb), and high-back booster (40–100 lb), with the base included and FAA approval for the flight home. Every seat is cleaned with a child-safe hospital-grade sanitizer, inspected for recalls and expiration, and delivered to your MCO curbside, Disney resort, or Airbnb.
Trip planningWhen should I book my Orlando stroller rental?
For peak weeks — spring break, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, and the July 4th holiday — reserve at least three to four weeks out, because our City Mini Double and GT2 inventory sells out first. Off-peak (late January, September, early December) two weeks is usually enough, and we do our best to accept same-day and next-day requests when a stroller is available. Booking early also locks in the lower trip-length pricing tier: a 4-night rental starts at $75 and a 7-night is the same rate, so extending your trip a couple of days rarely costs more.
CleaningHow are strollers and car seats cleaned between families?
Every stroller returns to our Orlando warehouse, gets fully unfolded, and is deep-cleaned with a fragrance-free, child-safe, hospital-grade sanitizer that kills 99.9% of common viruses and bacteria. Fabrics — canopies, seat pads, parent consoles, and rain covers — are machine-washed on a gentle cycle and air-dried. Wheels, brakes, harness buckles, and folding mechanisms are inspected by hand for wear or recalls, and any part that fails is retired. Car seats get the same treatment plus an expiration-date and recall check against the NHTSA database. Nothing goes out to a family unless it passes every step of the checklist.
